Always wash your hands with an unscented, antibacterial soap before handling your fresh tattoo.

Wash Your Hands

The amount of time we recommend wearing the first bandage will vary depending on the size, style, and location of your tattoo. Please listen to your artist regarding how long to wear your second skin bandage.

Second Skin Bandage

Do NOT scratch or pick at your tattoo! It is normal for your tattoo to itch and for the skin to peel and flake during the healing process. Scratching and picking can damage the area and cause scarring or ink fallout.

Do Not Scratch your Tattoo

Infection can occur at any point while a tattoo is healing. Antibacterial soap is your best defense against infection. If you are concerned about the state of your tattoo, please reach out to your artist so they can advise.
